LO1: Filming Locations and Information

Sheffield city centre buildings
 Arundel Gate buildings

Busy main road in Sheffield
Anywhere in or near the city centre will do, perhaps with trams

City centre viewpoint
My first choice would be Meersbrook Park, which would provide the perfect country foreground, city background shot.

My backup plan would be a view from the Amphitheatre, behind the train station.

This gives great views of the city centre but doesn't incorporate as much greenery, which is why I would rather film from Meersbrook Park.

Peak District town
Castleton would be my first plan for a small town to film.

Buxton is my backup plan.

Open country spaces for exploration
One of my preferred open spaces is the Limestone Way.

Another is Shire Hill, Old Glossop.

One of my backup plans is the countryside in the village of Edale.

Another is Stanage Edge, which is just outside of Hathersage.

Iconic Peak District building
My first choice is Solomon's Temple, a tower just outside of Buxton.

A backup is Peveril Castle, an old fort just outside of Castleton.

Reservoir with walks around it
Fernilee Reservoir is my first choice, as I am more familiar with it.

Errwood Reservoir is a good backup plan because it is right below Fernilee Reservoir.

Landscape viewpoint
My preferred choice for this location is the top of Mam Tor, because it offers amazing views over the Peak District landscape.

Winnats Pass is a very good backup location, however, because it too offers great views, and is near to Mam Tor.
